Millwrights, fitters or electricians experienced with underground coal mining equipment, both mobile and longwall, to work on equipment maintenance both on site and in plant. Core skills need to include the ability to read and understand hydraulics as a minimum for fitters. The equipment range they would work on would include:

Joy Development equipment
Shuttle Cars, Continuous Miners, Shearers.

Longwall Equipment
Roof Supports, Armoured Face Conveyors.

General
Breaker Feeders, Mobile Bootend, Mobile plant.

Auto Electricians
Qualified tradesmen with at least 3 to 5 years of general auto, 4wd or truck experience. Vehicle air conditioning experience well regarded; heavy equipment experience of interest.

Boilermakers - light
Tradesmen able to work in steel and aluminium, tube, flats and solid materials, read plans and operate a range of punching, folding and cutting equipment in a special vehicle body production environment. Fork lift operation and light to medium materials experience an advantage as is the ability to supervise and develop apprentices.

Boilermakers - heavy
Qualified heavy industry boilermakers for both workshop and site project based work. Experience with flux cored wire and heavy welding preferred. Familiarity with detailed safe work practices is essential.

Coach builders
Tradesmen experienced in jigging and assembly work in steel and aluminium and able to work from drawings. Light commercial experience an advantage as would be working on production of a range of special purpose light truck and utility bodies.

Truck body repair workers
Qualified Coach Builders or sheet metal workers with experience in truck and heavy equipment body repair.

Sheet metal workers
Qualified tradesmen experienced in cubicle work and MIG welding. To work on a range of steel and aluminium tanks, special purpose boxes for trucks, electrical cabinets etc. Must be able to work from drawings and stainless steel and TIG experience would be an advantage.

Millwrights.
Experienced qualified tradesmen with underground coal mining equipment, both mobile and longwall, to work on equipment maintenance both on site and in workshop.

Electricians
Qualified electricians with heavy industrial experience in maintenance or construction and understanding of detailed safe work practices. The majority of work will be in the maintenance and construction of coal processing plants, electric draglines and shovels.

UG Project Managers

Project managers with experience in underground mine development specifically targeting road header use in stone drivage. Proven competency in safe management of projects in faulted ground and new drift development an advantage. Suitable applicants should be able to assist in estimating and planning at office between works.

Crane Drivers
Certified crane drivers with mobile crane experience in the 50 to 100 ton range. Experience in working in a general hire market operation would be an advantage.

Crane Mechanics/Fitters
Mechanics or fitter with experience in the maintenance of mobile cranes in the 50 ton and above capacity range. Experience in electronic controls and hydraulics would be of advantage.
