    The Highly Skilled Migrant Programme (HSMP) was introduced by the UK Home Office in January 2002. The programme is designed for applicants with exceptional personal skills and experience to come to the UK and work.
    The Highly Skilled Migrant Programme if granted provides an initial temporary visa for a period of up to 4 years.
